Jin Gyu Choi
Head of Research Mthera Pharma
Dr. Choi is the Head of Research at Mthera Pharma, having been a key part of the company since its inception. With extensive expertise in pharmacy and translational research, he leads the drug development lifecycle for neurodegenerative and chronic intractable diseases. Dr. Choi has successfully guided key pipelines from preclinical stages through global clinical trials, including navigating the US FDA IND approval for MT101.
Prior to his current role, he completed his Ph.D. and conducted advanced research as a postdoctoral fellow at Kyung Hee University, focusing on innovative drug discovery technologies and therapeutic assets. He holds a Ph.D. in Pharmacy and has published over 50 peer-reviewed papers in prestigious SCI journals, reflecting his deep commitment to advancing scientific and clinical breakthroughs.
